Microchipping

The NSW Companion Animals Act 1998 requires that all dogs and cats be microchipped and lifetime registered. A microchip is smaller than a grain of rice and is injected under the skin generally around the shoulder region. Its unique number can be read electronically via a special scanner device. The number then can be matched with the pets owner. If your pet needs to be microchipped, ring us and make an appointment. It's a relatively pain free procedure and you have peace of mind knowing that your loved one will never go out without its electronic collar.
