Surgery
The Tweed Coast Vets are equipped to perform a range of surgical procedures. We have modern anaesthetic machines and monitoring equipment. We also use safe and modern anaesthetics, which enable the patients a quick recovery enabling them to return home quicker. The instruments are autoclaved (sterilised) and there are precautions taken to ensure a sterile environment is created for the surgeons to work in.
There is a vast range of operations which are veterinarians perform. For example, desexing, exploratory surgery, caesarians, intestinal obstructions, orthapedic surgeries, tumor removals, stitch ups and lots more. We can also ensure that every precaution is taken when your family pet is given an anaesthetic at our surgery.
Both Pottsville and Cabarita have Surgery Facilities and are able to do all kinds of Surgery. If your loved one is going into Surgery we ask that it is not fed from midnight the night before the operation, as the anaesthetic can make them sick.
